State of the art machine shop

Certified with the American Bureau of Shipping, our machine shop offers general machine work, propeller shaft construction and repair, rudder shaft, steering components, water jetting of parts, and specialized pump and prop repair.

The machine shop facility is housed in a new 300’ x 125’ building with (2) 10-ton overhead hoists and (4) 5-ton overhead hoists. We have 5 manual lathes capable of handling shafts up to 40’ long, a 400 ton shaft straightening press, 12’ x 5’ CNC waterjet cutting table, (2) double head sub-arc welding machines and various support machines including mills, drills and saws.
