Owned by Mr. Arlen “Benny” Cenac, Jr. and Cenac Marine Services, the Houma, Louisiana shipyard of Main Iron Works, LLC is located at the 50 mile marker of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Main Iron Works specializes in the construction, repair, and repowering of marine vessels and barges. Since its conception in 1947, Main Iron works has proudly built and refurbished push boats, offshore tug boats and scallop boats. In addition to offering dry docks of various capacities, dock space for repairs, shore power and water connections, machine shop services are now available.

Main Iron Works’ shipyard is located at the 50 mile marker of the Intracoastal Waterway in Houma, Louisiana.
